Lent Talk: Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus

Deacon Paul will discuss

• Jesus’ Passion, specifically the Garden of Gethsemane, The Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu, Jesus and Pontius Pilate, and the Praetorium.
• Jesus’ Crucifixion, specifically what crucifixion is, the Jewish sacrifices, penal substitution, and the I.N.R.I. signs on our personal crucifixes.
• Jesus’ Death, specifically the year that Jesus died, the cause of Jesus’ death, the Pietà, the tomb, and Jesus’ descent into hell.
• Seven reasons for Jesus’ Resurrection.
